Back in the day I used to love going and doing a lovely beauty shop and I did so quite frequently, however as the years have gone on and I’ve ventured more into fashion and developing my personal style, seeing what suits me and investing in luxury pieces. Nowadays buying various beauty products at one given time has become a novelty for me, merely down to the fact that I don’t do it as often as I used to, when my blog was heavily beauty focused.
| MOLECULE 01 FRAGRANCE, £36.00
I first heard about Eccentric Molecules and in particular their Molecule 01 Fragrance many moons ago, at the beginning stages of my blogging days. I remember bloggers, such as Lily Pebbles and Anna Newton (formerly known as ViviannaDoesMakeup) who used to mention this fragrance and how much they really enjoyed wearing it. One of the main selling points of this fragrance is that it’s based on a single note and because it blends with the wearer’s own pheromones, it’s unique to every person who wears it.
| NARS NATURAL RADIANT LONGWEAR FOUNDATION, £35.00
It’s no secret that Nars are my absolute favourites when it comes to their base products. My Holy Grail foundation is their Sheer Glow foundation, accompanied with the Radiant Creamy Concealer. I have also tried and enjoyed using the Radiant Tinted Moisturiser and the All Day Luminous Weightless foundation, however Sheer Glow remains my go-to. I’m always intrigued when Nars release a new foundation and although this isn’t hot off the press, new, it currently remains their newest base and I’m interested to know whether this takes place of my H.G.
| CHARLOTE TILBURY MAGIC CREAM, £49.00
The Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream is another product that has been raved about by so many people. I’m definitely someone who gets stuck in a rut when it comes to my skincare, however Ms Tilbury is an absolute queen and has perfected and used this product for years. I already have a select few products from Charlotte Tilbury and they have yet to disappoint, so I’m very excited to incorporate this products into my skincare routine.
| COVER FX CUSTOM ENHANCER DROPS, £34.00
I’m an avid fan of a good liquid highlighter and the more, the merrier in my opinion. My complexion can be quite dull and sallow at times, so I love using a highlighter to give some life back to my skin. I’ve tried various liquid highlighters, from different brands including Niod, Giorgio Armani and Iconic, however the Cover FX Custom Drops also come highly recommended. Liquid highlighters can also be used in multiple ways, whether it’s mixed into a moisturiser, mixed into a foundation or used on top of your base as an actual highlighter. I’m constantly on the hunt to find the best products that work for me, so I look forward to seeing if the custom enhancer drops measure up.
| AESOP PARSLEY SEED MASQUE, £33.00
I have wanted to try this mask out for the longest time and I remember when lots of beauty bloggers would rave about how good it was. I have tried my fair share of face masks in the past and the majority that I have tried doesn’t perform and I feel like it’s for the sake or it. I have only come across a few masks that actually work and have visible results, however I have tried a coupe products from Aesop and really like the brand, so I have faith in their Parsley Seed mask!
| MORPHE FAN BRUSH M310, £5.50
For someone who has more brushes than I can count, I still had a missing void in my brush collection, which was a fan brush. For the longest time I have been using the Real Techniques Contour brush to apply my highlighter, however I felt that it was about time that I finally purchased an actual fan brush to apply highlighter more precisely and exactly where I want it.
